A complimentary update is set to arrive for *Ghost of Yōtei* next week, introducing enhancements that enable fans to extend their journey after completing the game, including a New Game Plus option.

It has been slightly over a month since the launch of Sucker Punch Productions’ *Ghost of Yōtei*, and developers are already incorporating features post-credit screen. On November 24, a complimentary patch for *Ghost of Yōtei* players will present a New Game Plus mode, enabling fans to experience Atsu’s quest for revenge from the initial scene with all the achievements gained during the campaign. This allows completionists who missed ‘that one item’ in the first area to collect it without restarting the campaign and replaying everything from the beginning. Sucker Punch has also released a new trailer showcasing the updates, available below.

The New Game Plus mode will become accessible after you complete the main storyline in *Ghost of Yōtei*, and will introduce new higher difficulty levels and two additional trophies to match them. A new currency titled Ghost Flowers will also be available for players to trade with a vendor for over 30 new cosmetic items. These will include new armor and weapon dyes, along with 10 new charms. Players will also gain the ability to achieve an extra tier of upgrades for their current armor and weapons, allowing Atsu to become even stronger than what was feasible with just the standard game experience.

With this latest patch, fans can revisit content in the post-game after finishing the main storyline. The free *Ghost of Yōtei* update additionally introduces a new stats display for players who require their data instantly. New accessibility features will also be implemented in *Yōtei*, such as remapping directional buttons, and a new Photo Mode (equipped with camera-like functionalities including shutter speed, a composition grid, and new filters) for those who enjoy relishing the moment.

Beginning November 24, fans will have the choice to revisit Atsu’s journey in New Game Plus or start anew from the beginning with fresh features. Similar to *Ghost of Tsushima* before it, Sucker Punch intends to deliver a ‘Legends’ mode for *Ghost of Yōtei* in 2026, and like *Tsushima* previously, the additional DLC will be complimentary upon release.

In the realm of competitive gaming, every millisecond counts. Whether you’re aiming at a target in *CS2* or responding to an adversary in *Valorant*, the margin between winning and losing frequently hinges on your display’s speed. This is precisely why MSI’s latest 500Hz QD-OLED monitor lineup is revolutionary for esports competitors and dedicated FPS fans. As we approach the Black Friday and holiday shopping period, if you’re improving your own configuration or hoping to treat the gamer in your circle, look no further than MSI’s 500Hz QD-OLED gaming monitors.

These displays pair ultra-high refresh rates with nearly instant response times, providing the motion clarity and input accuracy that top-tier players expect. It’s crucial to understand the contrast between standard TN displays and QD-OLED displays. While TN panels are celebrated for their swift response times and restricted viewing angles, QD-OLED panels boast superior color accuracy, featuring true blacks and exceptional contrast—ideal for those who prioritize visual quality, particularly in gaming. MSI’s QD-OLED screens also incorporate intelligent protection for the panel, making them perfect for extended use in high-performance configurations.

Another remarkable aspect of MSI’s new 500Hz QD-OLED Monitors is their EOTF Boost mode. EOTF Boost is an exclusive HDR setting from MSI, driven by its own proprietary software algorithm. This mode provides improved brightness, particularly in consistent APL (Average Picture Level) scenarios. The lineup features two models: the [MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50](https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MPG-271QR-QD-OLED-X50), the pinnacle of MSI’s AI-augmented displays, and the [MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50](https://ca.msi.com/Monitor/MAG-272QP-QD-OLED-X50), a more budget-friendly choice that still maintains high quality. If you’re on a tighter budget or need a monitor promptly, the MAG 272QP is available for immediate shipping and comes equipped with competitive-level amenities.

## MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 — Premier AI Gaming

The MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 represents MSI’s most sophisticated gaming monitor to date, designed for gamers seeking unmatched speed, clarity, and smart automation. As the world’s first 27-inch 2K QD-OLED gaming monitor, the MPG 271QR boasts a stunning 500Hz refresh rate and a response time of 0.03 milliseconds, effectively eliminating ghosting and motion blur. However, what makes it truly unique is its AI Care Sensor, an MSI exclusive feature. This AI Care Sensor technology utilizes a CMOS sensor to capture images every 0.2 seconds and operates on an AI chip featuring an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) algorithm. This privacy-focused system detects user presence and automatically adjusts brightness, color temperature, and power states.

This monitor also brings forth MSI OLED Care 3.0, a multi-faceted protection system that prolongs panel life and reduces burn-in risks. To improve user experience and lessen interruptions, MSI has extended the refresh interval to 24 hours, ensuring enhanced flexibility while maintaining the panel’s remarkable durability, complete with a 3-year burn-in warranty. Featuring DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20) for uncompressed 4K at 240Hz, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and Windows Dynamic Lighting certification, it is designed for compatibility with next-gen GPUs and synchronized configurations.

Although it is currently unavailable in Canada, it’s advisable to monitor for restocking if you’re interested in the full range of AI enhancements and top-tier performance. Prospective buyers can anticipate the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 returning to retail in January 2026.
